Your constitutional protections extend beyond the borders of the United States. As an American citizen, the U.S. government must safeguard and uphold your constitutionally protected rights, regardless of location. This responsibility becomes even more critical when a U.S. citizen is unexpectedly trapped overseas in a conflict outside their control.
In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, the U.S. government mobilized rapidly to evacuate Americans in Israel. But, just a few miles away, Americans in Gaza were abandoned by their government, left without meaningful evacuation assistance, facing repeated displacement, injury, and, in some cases, death by bombs their tax dollars paid for.
From October onwards, Project TAHA filed three pro bono lawsuits against the U.S. government, each resulting in the successful evacuation of American citizens trapped in Gaza.
Now, in partnership with CAIR-National, we are litigating the fourth and final lawsuit on behalf of the remaining nine American families still stranded in Gaza.
Please consider donating to our legal fund so that we can continue to work pro bono to seek justice for these families and ensure their safe return home.
